Travel blogs by Travellerspoint

Alright, then!

23 days until...

I suppose I should start by saying I never wrote a blog before. However, my next trip is going to be so amazing - hopefully! - that I just wanted a way to share it with the world, hence the present blog.

I obviously LOVE to travel and I've been to a few places like the United States (almost the entire east coast); Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Paraguay. Now I'm taking my travelling experience to a whole new level: I'm talking Middle-East for ten months.

More especifically: Israel.

I'll be leaving in less then a month; more precisely, in 23 days and my to-do list is still very long:

1 - I still live with my grandfather so I'll have to pack up my entire room before I go so he can use it as he pleases.
2 - I have already selected 80% of my clothes (as to what is packed and what stays) but I still need to go throught the rest and after see what I actually will take to see if I need to buy anything else;
3 - I need to wait until my former employer gives me the severance pay (otherwise I'll have next to nothing!) and then run to get that to the visa travelling card that I still need to do;
4 - I have to get everything that I planned to leave my boyfriend (yes, he's staying behind... for ten months... oy...!) done by at least a week prior to my trip;
5 - I need to get time to say goodbye to all my friends;
6 - Buy toiletries;
7 - Get recomendation letters for the school;
8 - Make time to study enough of the language to get by;
9 - Make time to study period.
10 - Sort my music;
11 - Sort my movies;
12 - Make sure the entire paperwork is ok and good to go;
13 - Get hair done before going so I won't have to spend on that over there.
14 - Make sure all bills are paid;
15 - Get the international certification for vaccinations or whatever its called;
16 - Get the international driver's license (not top priority at all, but still on the list);
17 - See the first aid kit with the medicines and whatnots;

...

Hmm... If my brain isn't misleading me, I think that's about it...

I know this list is probably not helpfull to anyone but me, however, it feels great to stop and really write down everything that needs to get done (as opposed to jolt it down in spare pieces of paper that I have no idea where they are now).

Alright, then. Off to start making my packing list!
